Maybe you’re new here. Maybe we’re old friends. But one thing you should always know as true—we were born curious. Each day, new questions percolate, new “what ifs.” We’re always moving ahead and always seeking unknowns. And you’ve come along with us for the ride (thank you 🫶).
Today, we’re excited to share that this curiosity has drawn us to Jalisco. And we’ve made a pitstop—and an exquisite tequila.
We’re excited to warmly welcome The Lost Explorer Tequila to the family, the debut solo act of renowned Maestro Tequilero Enrique De Colsa.
A letter from the tequilero himself below—
Dear friends,
Today I have the pleasure of sharing with you that I found in The Lost Explorer people who, like me, are committed to quality in spirits.
As you may know, throughout the years I’ve been making tequila, I’ve produced high-quality tequilas, as this is what I learned from my teachers: how to make great tequila.
I’m proud of the dedication and attention to detail in each step of production — knowing that the sum of perfection in each stage results in a great product. Knowing that I had such great support behind me, I wanted to challenge myself by making a tequila in the Tequila Valley, where I had no experience with the terroir, its agaves, and their notes.
The result was excellent, achieving mineral, herbaceous and spicy notes, which are very different from what I had produced in the past. We’re proud of our new tequila made with love and passion for the land, its agaves, and the process.
You simply have to try it.
